clankill3r
How can I select by intersection? The current way where the thing has to be totally contained is such a pain. A modifier for this would have been great.
GarryP
If you say more precisely what you mean by “select by intersection” then someone may be able to help you better. In other words, what are you selecting from, which Tool are you selecting with, which sort of intersections do you mean, and what do you want to do with the intersections once they have been selected. An annotated visual example is usually good to start with.

walt.farrell
You're welcome. (I have no idea, except that in certain contexts of the Move Tool, Shift,, Ctrl, and Alt are already used. Perhaps they felt it would be too confusing to use them during marquee selection.) There is on a Mac - hold down ctrl key after starting to drag out the selection rectangle. Maybe on Windows you have to hold down both ctrl and alt or hold down the right mouse button. chegr and R C-R
