Nakotuhin Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 While making textures intended for a game engine I discovered a weird issue: when I export TGA files for some reason their bottom right corner pixel gets inverted. If I export the same image to PNG or JPG there are no issues at all. I'm attaching original .afphoto file as well as TGA and an upscaled PNG file converted from TGA for better view. To reproduce this bug simply create a project and export it as TGA. You should notice exactly one pixel being inverted in the bottom right corner. I'm using Affinity Photo 1.8.5.703 T_ConcreteWall06.afphoto T_ConcreteWall06.tga Quote
David in Яuislip Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Yes, I have reproduced this by exporting a fill layer using various colours Odd thing is, the H values from both points add up to either 240 or 600 depending on the original. If I use values of 120 or 300 this doesn't occur Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
Staff Gabe Posted September 1, 2020 Staff Posted September 1, 2020 Hi both, We are aware of this and it has already been logged with our developers. Nakotuhin 1 Quote
AutumnPioneer Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I still have this issue in top left and right corners. How is it not fixed within 3 years?! Quote
Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted January 9, 2024 Staff Posted January 9, 2024 The issue "TGA Export and Import is inverting a single pixel value." (REF: AF-478) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.4.0.2222". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Quote
