Professor Patrick
Affinity Photo is great but recently when using the Frequency Separation filter I get a grey screen and that's it. Any help. Many thanks
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Professor Patrick. Are you on Mac or Windows? Perhaps you have an image that Frequency Separation isn't good for? Or perhaps you have the settings in the Filter set incorrectly? For example, if the Radius is too low I think you'd just have a grey-filled image. Can you give us a screenshot, including the image, the Filter dialog, and the Layers panel? Guess what, FS worked in the described poor fashion on my iMac but on my Macbook it seems ok. However thank you so much for your email and if the problem recurs I would like to come back to you. Note: in my view Affinity Photo is just what I hoped for and more when I left Photoshop, having paid for it is full, and they changed to a subscription only model. I will never be back to Photoshop.
