I don't know if i'm missing some configuration or something, but the vectors side by side don't look good, a really thin gap appears between them. I uploaded a comparison between how it looks on affinity vs illustrator and the positions of my two squares. Try work in Pixels (not mm), and set position/size to whole pixel (Preferences, User Interface options, Decimal Places for Unit Types set to max).
