Alex6
Hi there, I’ve just bought Affinity photo for iPad (2020 12.9"), but, if I add a filter from the studio filter menu, I don’t have the bolt icon to create a live filter. Any suggestions, please? Thanks in advance Cheers Alessio
Carson
At the top of the Filter studio menu list there is a toggle Add Live Filters. Tap that and you are good to go. Does that work for you?

That tutorial was for an older version of Affinity, maybe...
Carson
Also some of the tutorials are for the desktop version and can become a bit confusing when you are working in the iPad version. They don’t have the exact same features at times or are placed and accessed differently.

The official tutorial I watched was for iPad, he was using a 2017 model

Only some of the filters have Live versions. Perhaps there's only a "bolt" icon if the filter you're using offers that option? I can confirm that not all filters are 'live'.😀 walt.farrell 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen).
