KipV Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I get this message: “Affinity Designer Beta” can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the App Store and identified developers." If it works on the other two apps it seems the security preferences are set up right? Staff Sean P Posted July 14, 2020 Staff Posted July 14, 2020 That's most definitely strange! I just removed, re-downloaded and re-installed the beta and didn't get any of the messages shown that you're getting. The only one I got was the one informing me it was downloaded from the web and that Apple has checked it for malicious content and none was found. With that said you should be able to go into System Preferences > Security & Privacy and then click the lock to make changes. From there you should be able to allow the install to succeed.
KipV Posted July 15, 2020 Author Posted July 15, 2020 That fixed it, thanks. My Current Project | Previous Project | First Foray Into Web Design
