martin.smekal
When working in linear gamma and using 32-bit viewer with OCIO ACES Display Transform - for example sRGB, when I switch to a another opened document and back - the Display Transform is disabled. I get a "log" looking image. The OCIO Display Transform itself is still selected, but the image doesn't correspond. I have to switch to Unmanaged for example and back and I get the correct display transform back. But as soon as I switch to a different document, I have the same problem when I come back. When I have multiple documents opened all using OCIO - none of them can retain the display transform when switching between them. Is this somehow connected to Photos ability to read the ocio file? In my case it is stored on a network storage. Thank you Martin Chris B
Staff Chris B Posted June 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2020 Hey Martin, I have reproduced this. I haven't noticed it before as I tend to only work on a single document at a time. I will feed this back to the developers. Thank you. Hi Mark, I'm testing it now, but unfortunately the problem is still there Please see the video attached so it's clear what I mean I thought the problem might be that the ocio file is on a network, but now I have it on a local desktop. In the meantime we found, that when you undock the document, the colorspace jumps back to the correct one Maybe this can help you to narrow the bug - it seems somehow connected to the documents being docked or in the full tabs mode. And combined with switching between them causes the issue. Cheers Martin
