I'd like to put in a request for some simpler and more meaningful app icons for the Affinity suite. I really like the Affinity logo but it's not translating very well into this format which just looks a mess in my dock.

My call for meaningful was a bit hasty. I saw the camera aperture in Photo, and now I see the pencil in Designer. Not sure about Publisher.

Either way apologies if I've caused offence to the designers of the icons. This is subjective work and very hard.

I see (from bottom left to top right) a hardback cover then pages then the hardback cover again. My colour vision is pretty good so I go by colour as much as anything else.
