I'm in furious agreement with these comments. Let's go with a studio panel and just call it Links. I also request that it has: Edit with (application) for selected links Can show file path Shows scale of placed object Obvious alert for missing and updated links Can find missing links within the same folder It's also frustrating that an imported link, which in the layers palette is in an [IDML] frame, doesn't highlight in the Resource Manager the way it does in a regular frame. Publisher is a great work in progress.

My call for meaningful was a bit hasty. I saw the camera aperture in Photo, and now I see the pencil in Designer. Not sure about Publisher. Either way apologies if I've caused offence to the designers of the icons. This is subjective work and very hard.

Span columns - I'm in!

Yes I was surprised to find this feature missing. I'm creating a document with 10 colour defined sections, and thought I'd have to create 10 styles. However as a work around I found that you can 'pin' rules as objects to sit inline in the text, then select them and change the colour. Still I prefer your option if it worked.

I'd like to put in a request for some simpler and more meaningful app icons for the Affinity suite. I really like the Affinity logo but it's not translating very well into this format which just looks a mess in my dock.
