Robsch Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 One additional comment when "insert glyphs/ Unicode characters directly using characters ...Hex code", in Windows you must use the keypad to input your numbers as the other numbers won't work and make sure your 'Num Lock button is on. Without this tip Unicode characters will not work. Hope this will help anyone unfamiliar with Hex code. Quote
walt.farrell Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 If you're talking about this Help topic (Special Characters and Glyphs) it is not describing using the numeric keypad and the Alt+nnn method of adding special characters on Windows. It is talking about the ability to simply enter G+ or U+ and a hex code, which work with any of the keys that will give you 0-F. You just use Text > Toggle Unicode or Alt+U, and then you can type Unicode hex values or Glyph hex values.
