I am trying to export this image with the transparent vertical lines, but its not getting transparent after exporting to png.

Tried looking at some tutorials but cant figure out what to do. Need some help, please!

What do you actually see in the exported PNG?

And what do you have in the Export dialog, especially in the More... section, and the Matte specification?

Hi

The exporter png is just like the default image (with the vertical lines in black)

I havent changed anything iin the export dialog. Matte section is Greyness 50.

You would want the matte to be None (white box with red slash) if you want any transparency, I think.

@Espen A - Sorry to hear you're having trouble and my apologies for the delayed response here.

Could you please attach a copy of your .afphoto document, the exported PNG and a screenshot showing your export options, including the 'More' options?

Thanks for your file, I can see from your Navigator and Layer Studio icons that these lines haven't been successfully removed from the image - and when opening your file here I'm seeing the following -

Please try using the Flood Select Tool to select the White areas of the image, now use Select>Invert Pixel Selection to swap your selection to the black bars. Once you've created your selection use Edit>Cut to remove the selection area from your image. Now export again, ensuring you use the correct export options.
