Ivan Seymus
Hi, I downloaded the 90day trial … thanks a lot! (and cancelled my CC subscription) Problem: created a logo in Designer that I wanted to save on an external drive: Error. Tried to copy it through the finder: same error. I can save the file locally but don't seem to be able to move it to an external drive (connected by USB-C through dongle on MacBook Pro 15") System: Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 Thnx a lot for the help! Gear maker
Welcome to the forum Ivan, had you closed Affinity Designer before trying to move the file? I have read that sometimes just closing the document is not enough. I haven't had a problem moving my files to an external drive after AD is closed. KC Honie
You might try going to "System Preferences / Security & Privacy / Privacy" and try giving AD access to files and folder or full disk access... Let us know if that helped... After restart I was able to move the file. So I'm still not sure what the reason was. If we knew what Error code -50 means, that could indicate the cause …
