OK, did that and was able to save directly to a removable volume. (which I normally never do!) So I guess the problem is solved. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for your response! AD was closed. After restart I was able to move the file. So I'm still not sure what the reason was. If we knew what Error code -50 means, that could indicate the cause …

Hi, I downloaded the 90day trial … thanks a lot! (and cancelled my CC subscription) Problem: created a logo in Designer that I wanted to save on an external drive: Error. Tried to copy it through the finder: same error. I can save the file locally but don't seem to be able to move it to an external drive (connected by USB-C through dongle on MacBook Pro 15") System: Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4 Thnx a lot for the help!
