Studio Panels Become Undocked Easily

Recommended Posts

There is an issue with docked studio panels becoming undocked when clicking the dropdown menu. The panels appear to be overly sensitive to dragging. The issue doesn't seem to present itself when I'm using my trackpad to click, but when I use my Wacom pen it presents itself because I assume there is a small amount of movement of the cursor detected when I click with that device. I believe this relates to another topic I posted where the application window moves when clicking on toolbar buttons.

In the video I click once on the dropdown menu to open it, then once more to close it. You can see it becomes undocked at this point when the "x" appears at the left side of the Layers panel. I hover my pen to the left, then click at the top center of the Layers panel, which causes the Layers panel to jump. You can see when it jumps that it places the dropdown menu exactly where the click was applied, as if the panel was stuck to my cursor.

I completely agree with you, I feel as though I am fighting the application at times.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
