Font size changes from original text frame.  Tried both lower right buttons but doesn't work.  I'm using move tool to highlight text frame; then click on text frame with text frame tool; the clicked on blue triangle on right (sometimes it's red with a slash through the eye); drew new linked text frame, and the overflow text is smaller than the original.  What am I doing wrong, or is there a program problem?

You need to make sure that when you adjust the size of the frame you use the control handle that is attached to the frame (the one I've marked below), not the detached one.

If you did adjust the size of the first frame using the detached handle that would adjust both the size of the frame and the size of the text, but only for the text that is in that frame. If you then flow the text into a new frame, it would have the original text size, and that could give the effect you're seeing.

On the other hand, there could be a bug, and others have noted the same thing happening, but except for one or two specific cases I don't think we know everything that causes it. Where did the text come from originally? Perhaps some more information on your workflow before the problem occurred would help.
