Is it possible to make columns of different heights using one text frame?

It would be easier to have it as one text frame I think.

You can insert a column break in your text, but in total the text frame has one height.

Gotcha. Is that the best way to do this then? I was hoping to make it a master page. I could just put three separate text boxes in there but then I have to make sure they're the same width apart.

This is the best way I know. It is not so difficult to put three boxes with the same width apart. Select all three boxes, pick the Alignment button from the top tool bar, select Space Horizontally, uncheck Auto distribute and set your width and hit the Apply button.

Hey thanks. I'm so sorry but I can't see the Space Horizontally button on the tool bar. 

I can see it in the menu bar but when I click it, it gives me no option to uncheck autodistribute
