MikeW Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Yes, it is a perpetual license. One can use the initial purchased version as long as the OS it is installed on allows it to run. Changes in the OS in the future may/will require an upgrade. All updates during the major version one purchases a license for are free. Currently, Affinity applications are in the version 1 version cycle. When, in the future Serif gets to releasing version 2, that would be an upgrade and has a cost. But like I mentioned, even version 1 will run as long as the OS supports it. Quote
