Export persona misaligned with artboards coordinates

Recommended Posts

Export persona coordinates are different than the artboard

Artboard:

Slice:
(creating a slice from the object, or manually, give wrong coordinates and it's impossible to get the same as the artboard, since the shift value isn't in whole pixels)

Aworkaround is to open the file in APub and convert the artboards to pages, before reopening it in AD. This way, the Export persona get the same coordinates.

Hi Wosven,

Could you attach the offending file your screenshots demonstrate please - when reporting bugs always try to attach files that demonstrate the problem if you have them. It makes issues so much easier for us to investigate and pick up!

Ensure you have Pixels set to multiple decimal places and that the artboard is on whole pixels, otherwise the values will get rounded up and you can get the behaviour you are seeing. However without the file I cannot be 100% sure.

Yup - the artboard position is not pixel aligned, so is causing the slice to be off set. Correcting this allows you to place the slice without a problem. You should be able to enable 'Move by Whole Pixels' and 'Force Pixel Alignment' as well which will help avoid you accidentally putting objects on half pixels.
