Kinvara Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 (edited) When I try to export from my iPad as an EPS to my laptop something happens to the strokes, this is what it looks like on both. Can someone help? Edited April 20, 2020 by Kinvara Quote
Staff Sean P Posted April 21, 2020 Staff Posted April 21, 2020 Hi Kinvara, Can you please attach the fie you're using please? At a guess I would say that your drawing contains pressure on the strokes (done using the Vector Brush Tool) - unfortunately pressure is not supported by EPS so the stroke has to be expanded, and in some cases this may not always expand correctly losing the differences in the pressure. Kinvara Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 Hi Paul, Thanks for replying! I have attached the EPS. Mountain-illustration.eps I am unsure how to turn off pressure on the strokes. Are you able to help me with this so that I can try what you have said? Quote

Are you able to help me with this so that I can try what you have said? Tap above the pressure curve in stroke studio. Then select reset. Staff Sean P Posted April 21, 2020 Staff Posted April 21, 2020 Can you attach the afdesign file as well please? Unfortunately I cannot investigate it properly using the EPS. Quote
Kinvara Posted April 21, 2020 Author Posted April 21, 2020 Thank you @DM1! This has helped, but it is still expanding when I export it. Sean, I have uploaded the file. Thank you! mountain.afdesign Quote
DM1 Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 @Kinvara The file you uploaded is the second example. Stroke and fill are weird on the white areas. Transparent fill and grey stroke. Could you attach the first example it will be easier to see what is happening (rather than what has happened). 🙂 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Kinvara Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 I had deleted the old file before i changed the pressure so I can't get the original back, but here is another file where the same thing is happening. Untitled.afdesign Quote
DM1 Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I don’t see any difference between the afdesign and the eps version. This afdesign has no pressure curves either.
