WKansepa Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Just want to praise… I don't know if you have noticed that by simply clicking / selecting an object on the artboard or through the layers panel before creating objects (be it drawing, placing or pasting), the new object is placed immediately above the selected item. Note that this only works when the objects share the same layer. This helps in predetermining where exactly you want your objects to be in the layer hierachy. Adobe Photoshop has the same behaviour and Illustrator doesn't. We are probably doing this in our daily workflow and we don't take note of some these nifty mechanics from the Affinity team. I am just saying… Dan C 1 Quote

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
GarryP Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 You can change this behaviour – if you want to – via the Insertion options (either the Layer menu or relevant Toolbar icons). Quote
