Hi,

I have a problem with my Affinity Designer on Mac. I use the latest AD and FontBase as a management tool. When I add a font to my favourites and close both apps, next time I open both apps, the font disappear from my favourites bar. Has got anyone a solution for this?

I also have a Windows PC and have no problems with my favourite fonts.

Hi MartinS.

Is your FontBase set to activate/deactivate fonts when it loads or certain programs load? It sounds like if the font is no longer there when the app is started up then the Favourite tag is removed. I'll see if this is something that can be solved, or whether its down to the way macOS works.

I think someone else reported a problem if he had a font category named Favourites in Fontbase, and renaming the category in Fontbase resolved a conflict with Favourites in Affinity. Perhaps something like that is happening here, too?
