MontresDesign Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Hi, I'm starting using Publisher and enjoying it. In the text decorations, I can underline and strike through it. But the strike through option are only horizontal. Is there a smart way to strike through the text in diagonal ? Thanks a lot Quote
GarryP Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Welcome to the forums. You can draw a line with the Pen Tool and then use Pinning to Float the line into the text, see attached video. It’s not perfect – you may need to manually change the line if the text under it changes – but it might be enough for what you want. 2020-04-01_13-52-42.mp4 Old Bruce 1 Quote

I am not sure though, whether GPL license allows these kinds of modifications. ... In general, an Opensource font may be altered. When a change has been made and a modified font is released the license usually/always has to be the same kind and the names (external/internal) are required to be changed as well. It may be that the addition of DST to the external name (and that is carried through to internal, esp. the postscript name) is enough. Best to always read the license. Quote
