Dokaben Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I am using Designer in Japan. When I export a saved document, it shows "changed" even though it has been saved. "changed" is displayed as "変更あり" in Japanese. I think this display is confusing, so I'd like to see this behavior eliminated. Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 The same thing happens when the language is set to English, @Dokaben. If you Export after you Save, the Export process can add an entry to the History panel. In the example below, I created a rectangle, Saved, then Exported. The Save is not visible, but it happened immediately after the "add rectangle". Then the Export added a History entry, and the change to the History also marks the document modified (or changed). All of the Affinit applications have worked like this for a long time, probably since the beginning. About 2 years ago one of the Serif staff said it's not a bug, but it would be worthwhile to make an improvement request. I didn't see any other requests to change it, so thank you for making this one.
