lepr Posted March 28, 2020 Share Posted March 28, 2020 Unfortunately, we're still waiting for the addition of alt-dragging inside the Layers panel to duplicate objects/layers. There is a huge list of requests to be worked through. Solution: in Layers panel, select the object (a mask for example), press cmd+j to duplicate it, and then drag the duplicate to the required location. The masking a layer works a little differently in affinity photo. open a Image duplicate this image a right click on the duplicated image and than Rasterise to Mask. A left clik of the thumbnail with hold down the ALT Key, the mask is displayed as a grayscale image. I hope it helps.
