walt.farrell Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Assuming you're using Windows, the suggestions in this FAQ entry should help: https://affin.co/WinSetupFailed Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. emmrecs01 Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 @SteveL Just to confirm: you have followed ALL the steps in that FAQ, including using the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter? This latter has proved to be the ultimate solution for a number of users but I accept, it may not work in your case, for some unknown reason. How does it fail? And at what step in the FAQ? More details, please. ("Failed" is far too vague.) If it gets as far as saying "Setup Failed", then what does the SetupUI.log file show? Contact your technical support group. Assuming you've followed the steps in the FAQ (reboot, run as administrator, etc.) you'll probably need to use the Microsoft Uninstall Troubleshooter that the FAQ mentions. Edit: Oops. Cross-posted. Glad to hear it worked.
