Affinity DESIGNER apply adjustment layer(s) to colors

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Is there a way to apply / convert the adjustment layer to the document color swatches ( even the globals ) ?

Ex : I make a whole interface in black and white but for some reason i want the colors to be inverted, so i make a a"Invert" adjustment layer. The problem is that colors in document are not converted to that invert effect..
So every elements in white stills referenced with black color swatches.

In other words i need to "merge"/apply the adjustment layers.

Any idea ?

Welcome to the forums.
An Adjustment is a non-destructive change and, as such, does not change the document itself, which means that the defined colours will stay as they are. Otherwise all of your colours would change every time you applied an Invert Adjustment, which wouldn’t be good.
If you want to invert the colours permanently you will probably have to do that manually.

I am not sure if this is what you want, but in the adjustment window there is a "Merge" button which 'bakes' the adjustment into its parent layer.

Even with adjustments applied to vector layers? (I ask, as I'm guessing the OP is dealing with vectors as they're doing UI design.)

Also, that would require, I think, that the adjustment be repeated on each vector object in the design.

Good point. No, I don't think the "Merge" button would do what the OP wants.
