VirginiaL
Hi you all, I have two questions about the license. I have read that it is possible to install it in multiple devices. I have a laptop and desktop, both windows. Is it possible? When you write "Updates available as we improve", it means also if you produce a new version with a different number? Example, I bought 1.8, you will update my version up to 1.9/2.0? Thank you in advance, Best V
mac_heibu
Both questions are discussed here in myriads of thread. Wonder, why nobody searches and hops to get an individual answer. In short: Yes you can install the app on every machine you control, if it uses the same platform (WinDows/macOS). About versions: just read the today’s posts! VirginiaL
Believe me or not, I searched, that is how discovered the multi-platform use. But I didn't find an answer about the versions! No individual delusions of greatness Anyway, thank you!

I scanned through the thread that you posted but do not see any discussion about versions, only trials. @virginiaL Did you find an answer to your question? walt.farrell
A purchase of an Affinity application today gives you free access to all further updates to version 1.x of be that application. So, at the moment, you'd get version 1.8.2. When 1.8.3 comes out it will be free for you. So will any further 1.8.x releases, 1.9.x releases (if any), 1.10.x releases (if any), etc. Serif has not said when they might release version 2.0, but until they do all the updates are free. Whenever they do release 2.0 you would need to pay for it if you want it. Or you could keep using the latest 1.x version available at that time.
