Expanded dash line style strokes - caps cut off

Something I've noticed when using round or square caps on dash line style strokes is that when you expand the stroke, the caps at the start and end are cut off. This doesn't happen with solid line style.

Hi mark-h,

We've had similar reports using regular lines, but not seen it with dashed lines. I've just tried myself and my line is working, however I do know this issue is very document specific. Would you be able to attach a copy of the document you're using prior to expanding please?

I've since tried it in a different document and it didn't happen, but it's still happening in the attached file.
