Staff Sean P Posted March 19, 2020 Staff Posted March 19, 2020 Hi Taku33, Thanks for the file - do you have any idea what you did with the Symbol? I have a feeling it could have a copy of itself inside, and when expanded is causing the application to get stuck in a loop. I will get it passed on to development. Quote
Joachim_L Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 (edited) Exporting it to PDF/X-4 and opening in AD again shows only need layers / curves. What is funny about the PDF is the fact, that all elements are now rotated with 180°. EDIT: When you detach the symbol, there is no crash and the layers are still simple and not doubled. Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted October 18, 2023 Staff Posted October 18, 2023 The issue "It should not be possible to use 'Move Inside' to place a Symbol inside itself" (REF: AF-562) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Quote
