BeauRX Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I had just printed several landscape photos so printing was working. Steps to reproduce. 1. Select a new 5R (5x7) document from the templates. 2. Change the orientation from landscape to portrait. 3. (Place) an iPhone portrait jpg image 4. Print 5. Orientation: Automatic 6. Insert 8x10" paper with short/8” edge leading 7. I received Support Code (2114) (The size or type of the paper loaded in the top feed is different from the print settings.) 8. After canceling and reloading the paper with long/10” edge leading it printed but the image orientation did not match the paper orientation. I did have a problem with AirPrint getting enabled which changed the driver settings available but after correcting that, the same job hung after printing the crop marks. I was able to print a landscape document/image at this point so printing is generally working. Looks like the orientation setting has a bug. (Config: macOS 10.15.3, APhoto 1.8.1, Canon PRO-1000 w current driver/FW) Quote
Staff Chris B Posted June 2, 2020 Staff Posted June 2, 2020 Hey BeauRX, Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce this as I am lacking a printer. We are still working from home so we don't have access to our usual hardware I'm afraid. I am asking around my team to see if anyone can try and set up a similar environment.
