Compound operation freezing APu

1. Create a rectangle.

2. Create artistic text.

3. Create a add or subtract compound of both elements.

4. Copy and paste the artistic text inside the compound.

5. Drag one of the artistic text layers out of the compound.

Result: APu is not responding anymore.

Of course. See attached. Just drag one of the Artistic text layers beneath the Master Page layer. In 1.8.0.584 APu does not freeze.

I found I had to undock the Layers tab to reproduce this, and the freeze doesn't happen until I try deselect the object after moving it (by just clicking anywhere on the spread).

Not sure if that lines up with what you saw but I've passed it on, thanks for the report!

Thanks, you are right, I can prevent the freeze, when selecting something else instead of deselecting the moved object by just clicking anywhere on the spread.
