Dave The Copy Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 In Pageplus 9 if a photo was low resolution Preflight would pick it up (great now included with 1.8) and you could adjust the dpi in the picture size and resolution box in the properties right click. You then just moved the slider to the right to increase the dpi for commercial printing. This was a great feature but there does not appear to be a similar option in publisher 1.8 . This, for me, is the only missing feature now. Any help? Thanks Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 With the image selected, and the Move Tool active, the Context Toolbar has some information on the image size and resolution: If you click on the pulldown arrow, you get a dialog like this, where you can adjust the DPI or scaling: However, as far as I know, it does not do resampling. If you increase the DPI the image will get smaller on the page. Petar Petrenko Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 In InDesign in "Links" panel under burger menu, there is a "Panel Options..." where you can set (beside others) "Actual PPI" and "Effective PPI" to be shown. This way you can easily adjust the size of your picture. It would be very useful for all 3 Affinity apps, though. I would prefer all these info to be available in the status bar whenever the picture is selected.
