thegary Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Hello, I have seen that all 3 products have been in beta 1.8 for a while. Is there a release date for this and possible new features we may see? I have some downtime from movie contracts and would be great to explore some new features. walt.farrell Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 You can see the current set of new features listed in the Release Notes for each of the beta releases for each of the applications. Serif is unlikely to say anything about potential new features that they might be planning that are not in the betas yet. Serif have not stated when 1.8 is likely to exit the beta process, and are unlikely to give any firm dates. The most recent statement I recall (from a month or so ago) was that it is likely several months off, because they are still adding functions and bug fixes. Also, as far as I know, the beta for the iPad versions has not begun yet, and all the applications for all the OSes will need to be made available at the same time. thegary 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Fritz_H Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 @thegary I agree with you. Given the large number of issues being reported in the beta-forums I would expect a fresh beta every other week... kind regards Fritz thegary 1 Quote
