th_studio
Hi folks! It's been a while since my last visit. Is there any way to know which fonts have been used in my document? Sometimes I get files which have some missing font and can't really find out their name. Thanks for your help! Tamzid
walt.farrell
Which Affinity application, and what kind of document? If it's Publisher, you can use Document > Font Manager. Or, if it's a PDF, you can Open the file, and the dialog that lets you select the pages will also tell you about any fonts that are missing. th_studio 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
G13RL
Hi th_studio, In Designer, go to the "Character" tab, click on the arrow to the right of "All", choose "Missing" from the drop-down list. Then click on the arrow to the right of the font name, the missing fonts are displayed with a question mark in front. In my example, "Gagalin" is installed, "Wee Bairn" is missing. I guess the procedure is the same in the other two softwares. th_studio
