Joachim_L
I opened an IDML with APu and the Preflight Panel gives lots of warnings about non-proportional scaling of images. I have looked up one file to see what is wrong. The original image in Indesign has a scaling of 20,77510066510341 % for width and height. The scaling information in the toolbar says 2048 x 2042 dpi and 15% x 15% scaling, the preflight warns about 14,6% x 14,7% non-proportional scaling. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
Joachim_L
Second thing found: When I now want to adapt the dpi values in the toolbar (value linking off) to equal values, sometimes I have to make two attempts. Sometimes, but not always the dpi value gets reduced by 1 pixel, although the correct value is entered. So I have to enter the value again. ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
Staff Gabe Posted January 31, 2020 Staff Share Posted January 31, 2020 Hi @Joachim_L, Can you attach that IDML and/or the afpub file?

Joachim_L
Erm, this is embarrassing. Forgot to mention a few extra steps. The problem is not the IDML import and non-proportional scaling ... The IDML was A4 and 600dpi. I changed to 300dpi and and scaled down to A5 bilinear. Seems to be a rounding error. Sorry for wasting your time.
