Is this funny non stable behavior something I should expect? Or maybe there is something wrong on my app setup that I can fix?

You shouldn't be getting that amount of slowdown. Does the speed improve after you restart the application? If not, would you be able to attach a copy of the document you are using here please?

Hi Sean. Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, I not only restarted the app but the PC as well. However, that behavior of items jumping randomly when dragging them has been frequent since testing Affinity for over the last few weeks. 

Just shared the doc as per advised. Thanks.

Did that, plus unchecked the snapping functionality. Plus restarted the PC over again, and it is now running smoothly. Thanks Sean, Pruus, for your prompt help on this matter.

When reporting issues to us can you please try to be as descriptive as possible as to what you're doing, the steps you are taking etc as this helps us better understand the issues you're having. It is also advisable to create a new post for each bug you find instead of bumping the previous.

Do the two issues in your video above happen every time? If so how are you moving these around, are you using Cmd+Drag, at which point are you releasing Cmd? Issues that happen when using keyboard shortcuts is always useful to display the onscreen keyboard as we can see what keys are being pressed and released at which point.

Are you able to attach the two documents shown in your videos to the Dropbox link above please? I've tried to reproduce using the one previously provided, but I couldn't see any similar objects in them.

Yes, every time since trying Affinity.

I often use these commands, indeed. Glitches like that happen to me as well, however, when dragging without pressing any keyboard.
