Joachim_L Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 What is the purpose of preserving FX when I rasterise an element? From my point of view it can be used for still changing FX without baking them into a (complete) pixel layer. Correct? In the end there should be no difference if I rasterise the element without preserving the FX? If so, the result is different. Staff MEB Posted January 6, 2020 Staff Posted January 6, 2020 HiĀ Joachim_L, It should give you the same result. If not (as shown in the screenshot) please attach the file here for inspection. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted January 6, 2020 Staff Posted January 6, 2020 This happens because the rasterisation isn't taking in account the blend modes for the shadows and highlights (screen and multiply). It's rasterising them as if they were set to Normal. It only affects CMYK documents. I'm checking/logging this to be looked at. Thanks. Joachim_L 1 A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
