BlueSailing Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Please look at this link: Church Directory The Images I've placed into Picture Frame Rectangles are coming out extremely pixelated. But the originals I'm placing are 8x10 @ 300 dpi JPEGs. Could I have a configuration problem? I used the default PDF (for web) settings, which are 72 dpi Quote
BlueSailing Posted December 31, 2019 Author Posted December 31, 2019 For clarification, the images I'm having propblems with are of the people, not the cover photo. Quote
MikeW Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 You'll have a better pdf if you resize those images, which are likely 3000 px wide, down to 150 px width to no more than 300 px width in an image editor and place them. Personally, I generally use an output resolution of 150 dpi for web pdfs, once in a while 120 dpi. But those images would still need resampled down in an image editor, it's just they could have a larger size. You are taking a 3000 px wide image, shrinking its pixel density to about a 1570 dpi effective resolution, then asking APub to throw away 90% of the pixels when the pdf is made. They are going to badly pixelate. Quote
