Hello,
I am not a graphic designer. I use the Affinity tools just for very simple processes. So maybe my question is stupid simple.

Is it possible to create a reusable template for 2 (or more) inclined images side by side? I mostly use Affinity Designer.

This is just a sample of what I want to do:

Hi J0e, the answer is yes. Maybe that this tutorial can help you learn how to do it. You only have to create a few clipping layers. The images will be placed inside such layers and can than be replaced with other images, thus acting as a template.

Should be easy to redo, distribute the needed shapes (trapeze, rectangle) over a rectangular background area of desired size. Afterwards place and clip the desired images underneath the different created shape part layers ...

To add to the above answers, to create a “template” you can add the layout to your Assets and re-use it wherever you want.
Also, you can experiment with Constraints and get something that can be resized pretty nicely, see attached GIF.
