Mark Oehlschlager Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I know that Designer does not currently have a blend function like the one found in Adobe Illustrator, but is there some alternative way of achieving color and shape blends in Designer? See the attached image. How could one go about achieving the contoured color blend along the shadow of the "C" letter form? A linear gradient won't work. Quote

firstdefence Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 This is as close as I could get in Affinity, took a lot of converting to curves and breaking them to get the shapes, then using those chopped curves with a lot of blur fx to achieve the shading. C Psuedo 3D Blended.afdesign Saved with history so you can jog back and forth in the history panel. This could be improved upon and the process streamlined, but I was just trying stuff out to see how it would work. Font used was Bebas Neue light.
