I’m trying to place an image dragged in from pixabay, but it drops in Full Size. I can’t seem to find a way to place it at a manageable size.

any ideas?

If you start from New document, just drag to empty layer and select the Move (M) tool and resize.  Or from open document, Add pixel layer, drag and resize.  You can turn layers on/off if you do this for multiple photos.

Well I must be holding my tongue wrong. Nothing I do will allow me to drag that image in as a size I can use?

Hi HarryMcGovern,
The downloaded image is bigger than the canvas. You have to either: 1.reduce it's size (the image) to fit your canvas/document size or 2. enlarge the canvas so it's bigger than the image.

1. To reduce the image size to fit the canvas: select the Move Tool and tap the image on canvas. Zoom out until you can see the blue bounding box (it represents the full image size). Drag one of the corner handles and reposition the image (dragging it from the center) so it's smaller and over the canvas area.

2. To enlarge the canvas instead, tap the document icon on the top left of the interface, then select Canvas > Unclip Canvas
