catlover Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 To the Devs: Please have a look at the attached screenshot containing the explanation. I don't quite know what to make of it : to me, it seems as if the App's Asset file does not overwrite the obsolete data. Shutting down & restarting the App does not make any difference. Latest: When placing the Asset nr.2 -No Fill initially, its name appears in the Layer Panel as "Group". Upon placing a second Asset ( Either one), the name of the firstly placed Asset nr2 changes to "Thin", the old name. I have included the .afassets file for your inspection. Thanks for looking into it if and when. In the mean time: Happy Holidays !! Best & Thanks C.L. Asset-naming.afdesign Asset-naming.afassets Quote
Staff Sean P Posted December 16, 2019 Staff Posted December 16, 2019 Hi Catlover, This is not a bug. The two names are separate, however the Asset name will get populated from the object's name, but this link is not shared. So renaming the asset will not rename the group. Quote
catlover Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 Understood and thank you. C.L. Quote
