Bluescreen Windows 1909 (Windows Store-Version)

Hi,

the Test-Version runs great, so i decided to buy the full Version on the Microsoft Store.. No chance to get this to work! :((( Just BSOD caused by Cldflt.sys (tips like disabling OneDrive etc doesn`t work) when there is no way to fix this i have to give it back. Can`t believe that this Version is sold over Microsoft store

What can i do to get it to work? I mean it`s unbelievable that a payed store Version makes trouble like this!!!

PS i have a clean, new installed Version of Windows 10 pro on a PC

The BSOD isn't caused by Affinity. User-mode applications are unable to cause a BSOD, only bad drivers, or faulty hardware. In your case, it's a driver for a cloud storage provider (e.g. OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc). Cldflt.sys is a proxy for your real cloud storage driver, so it can be difficult to know which provider is at fault.

Unfortunately you're not the only one affected (and we're not the only app affected) - http://www.google.com/search?q=Cldflt.sys+BSOD

We have an FAQ relating to this issue -

Hi Mark,

thank you for the reply.

i saw these faqs and solutions before i wrote this here. I mean it`s the first time i have this kind of problem with a new installed software on a clean installed Windoes 10 (only using "onedrive' --> disabling it makes no difference)  and it is definitely caused (in what way ever) by starting Affinity Photo (nothing else caused a BSOD before) and Windows (store). So there must be any ambitions by your company to solve this problem (speak with Microsoft etc). You are earning money with this and the software is still sold over the microsoft store. The problem exists a long time now and nothing seems to be solved.. So what shall i do now? Give it back and try to buy it not over the microsoft store (the demo version not from the store runs good)? Very unhappy with this right now!

Hi Mark, hi Affinity-Team

i just want to let you know that now everything runs well :) But to get there i had to reinstall my windows. I think it has to do with the Testversion (not from the Microsoft Store) and the licensedversion from the store afterwards. Before that i deinstalled onedrive and made the  "sc config cldflt start=disabled" and  "sc stop cldflt" thing. But that made my windows broken and strange things happened to the workflow.. So now i can say with a clean install on a windows 1909 you can use the microsoft store affinity photo app even when you use one drive.

Have a great day

Please read the (rewritten) FAQ which says that Microsoft have now fixed this bug in December's Windows Patch
