Hi All, 

I am having a weird text issue.  I am adding the TM trademark text to a file. I highlight the text and using the font adjustment and try to set it as subscript. (needs to be lowered, not like in superscript.see example picture) and nothing happens. Superscript is working fine, just not subscript. I now have to go into my document and hand make spaces between all the text on the page and insert an image instead of just the text. Very time consuming.

If you're using the Subscript button in the Typography section of the Character studio panel, the results will depend on the capabilities provided by the font you're using. If the font provides a subscript-2 character, that button will use it. If the font doesn't have that character nothing will happen. In that situation, use the Positioning and Transform part of the Character panel instead, and choose the Subscript option in the box that looks like it has a label of S: to get what you want:
