How to get page numbering into Table of content

Recommended Posts

Hello

I have been struggling for some time now, trying to figure out how to include page numbering in the table of content in a book I am designing. I know it is possible, but I am not able to figure out how it is done. It seems that I am not the only one struggling.

I think it will be a good idea if you could make a small tutorial about this topic. I would highly appreciate it, at least...

Best regards

If you use the default options for the ToC you will get page numbers automatically. If you're not using the default options, or specifying your own text style names, make sure you've asked for page numbers. Here's an example of the default options, and the one you need to make sure you specify in the Table of Contents studio panel:

Hello :)

I don't know how to "ask the page number".  I try to create a new document without  success. I read this post because I have the same problem as Runemann.
User of Indesign for more than ten years, I try to learn Publisher. However, I have a worry about creating a table of contents. When I create a table of content, I cannot see the page number in the table of content. However, I do have my page number on each page after inserting the special character in the template.
I do not find a clear answer in the forum and I respect the procedure of the video tutorials affinity without success. I think I do something wrong because of my Indesign work habit.

Thanks for your help.

Yann
