  1. I have a file I made in Affinity Photo on my Mac and it has a layers mask where I drop an image under some text and the image is masked into the text. When I use the same file on the iPad the mask does not work. I drop the image under the text layer and nothing happens. Are layer masks supported on the iPad? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
  2. I recall that in Ps, I can readily copy and paste layer masks to another layer. Can anyone do this in AP? I can copy the layer, but not the just the mask. Typically, I would be copying one adjustment filter's layer mask to another adjustment layer.
  3. In the last 24 hours I've recently dived in head first with the macOS and iOS versions of Affinity Photo. I feel like this is something I've been waiting for since the iPad came out and just realized this week the iOS version can run macros let alone macros made on the desktop version. I am beyond thrilled however I'm running into a few issues I was hoping someone could help me with. I'm attempting to create a macro that will make a layer mask based upon a selection which is essentially selecting out people in a photo. When I make a macro so far it will always repea
  4. So far I've not found a way to determine the exact grey value of a particular pixel of a layer mask in Affinity Photo. The info panel only shows colour values of the underlying layers. This is a very useful feature, for example if you work with gradients to combine two photos and you want to refine a certain area of the mask and apply the same grey value as in other areas of the mask. If such a feature really does not exist in Affinity Photo I'd like to request it to be implemented. If it does exist and I've simply not found it yet I'd be grateful if somebody could instruct me how
  5. Don't know if it has been maybe reported before, however take a look at these resizing issues here:
  6. The editing of layer masks with the paintbrush tool does not work. If I create a layer mask and try to edit it with the paintbrush tool (with black als foreground colour) nothing happens. Please see my settings in the attachment file. Thank you!
  7. Goof'n around with some old Dover clipart books. I sketched up a couple of designs scanned them and had my first major sash of vector surgery on AD. Its been on my computer for a little under a year and I figured I'd just jump into it and go for the gusto as I'm over Illustrator. The minimal reality of Affinity Designer is really nice. I must say, I'm pretty stoked on the results, can't wait to get a gnarlier sketch going. (())
