  1. You dropped directly into D2? Tried this and files aren’t appearing.
  2. Nice! A good use for stage manager. Have to give it a try!
  3. I was hoping we could copy files from the old Affinity app folder in the files app into the new one and they would magically appear. Unfortunately, it didn’t work.
  4. Ugh. This stinks. Would have thought the developers would have come up with something. I guess I’ll keep v1 on my iPad for now so I can access those files when needed and eventually I’ll move over the important stuff.
  5. How can I move projects over from Affinity Designer on the iPad to Affinity Designer 2 on the iPad? Is there an easy way? Thanks!
  6. I have a file I made in Affinity Photo on my Mac and it has a layers mask where I drop an image under some text and the image is masked into the text. When I use the same file on the iPad the mask does not work. I drop the image under the text layer and nothing happens. Are layer masks supported on the iPad? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
  7. Got solution from another source: If I remove shadow from each letter, group, and then reapply shadow to the group it exports fine.
  8. I've been trying to export several files from Affinty Designer on the iPad that has text in it. The text has been converted to curves, but I am still getting blocky letters in the file export. If I export as SVG and say export text to curves it works fine (even though I have done this in the file itself). Any suggestions? I have tried converting to curves multiple times and still not working right.
  9. How do you do an action similar to shift dragging on the desktop so an item stays perfectly lined up to where it came from?
  10. Using the Pen tool I am trying to draw a line that starts with a curve but then I want the next portion to be straight. I Illustrator I would draw the curve and click the last point and then I could start drawing straight again. I believe pressing the P key would do the same. I can't figure out how to do this in Designer. I can only follow a curve segment connected to a curve segment. I hope that makes sense.
