  1. Peter Gabriel comes with some special effects from AP :)
  2. Hi, I played around with Affinity Photo and I love it so far. But for some use cases I am missing Photoshop a bit. I think color based selections was way more effective in Photoshop than it is in Affinity Photo. In Photoshop you could press and hold Shift key to add more colors to your existing range, before playing with the tolerance slider. The result usually comes a lot closer to what you are looking for. Does anyone have an idea how to create a selection based on a whole bunch of target colors? Sorry for my German screen shots ;)
  3. I am wondering if there is a way to add additional color styles. I see that there is glass, metal, rainbow and others. I want to use some sort of gold foil or glitter. Is that possible?
  4. Hey! I came across problem - I can't find where I can change grid size, for example, I want small grid units per 4px and big grid units per 20px (right now it is 20px for small ones & 100px for big ones) Also is it possible to change grid color - I'm working on light gray background and it's quite hard to see the grid. Thanks! :)
  5. I just finished editing a photo, looks really nice on the screen, but when I click on "Print", the print preview, as well, as the printed photo, looks like the original photo before any of my editing. All the colors look washed out as in the original photo. It is as if there is a "veil" over the edited photo. Yet, if i export the image as a TIFF or JPG, and open it in Mac OS X "Preview" app, it looks as it does in Affinity Photo when I edited it. I don't understand why this is happening. I am working on: iMac, 27-inch, Mid 2011 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 8 GB RAM AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB OS X Lion 10.7.5 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 In God's Harmony
  6. I wasn't able to find an answer, so I have to ask for help with Affinity Designer. 1) I have a new document for Web, with color format RGB/8 and color profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1. 2) I create rectangle and in Color (or Swatch) pane I choose this color: RGB(73,130,23). 3) When I use Apple Digital Color Meter (showing native values) and point on color "in document window", it says RGB(73,130,23). 4) But when I point Digital Meter on any toolbar element with this color (Swatch, preview, recent colors), it says RGB(66,130,45). 5) And what's worse - when I export to PNG, DCM still says RGB(66,130,45). And as far as I tested, any other software identify this color as RGB(66,130,45). What am I doing wrong ? Thanks for any suggestion. I have just tried AD Beta 1.1.2.23308 and this is fixed !
  7. I just started using Afiinity and when I opened a illustrator file, the color of the image changed. I don't know why? can you help me please? I have attached a print screen of both files, the one I opened in affinity and the original one, so you can see the difference I would appreciate any comments Thank you
