  1. Serious Color Management Issue I went back immediately to 2.1.1 for the whole suite because on the very first minute of work I came across a serious color management issue. Wrong profiles are used (or pretended to be used) even the app wide color setting has been changed. I can't work at all if I can't know for sure which profile I'm using. 2. In Affinity Apps the default CMYK is "U.S. Web Uncoated v2". In Europe, ISO Coated v2 or older FOGRA profiles are predominantly used. In recent years, I've manually added the ISO profiles after each update upgrade and saved them in the settings, without having opened any file. In version 2.2 of all apps, the profile is not saved. Not in the settings of the apps, and not in the settings of a file. I've tried by saving the ICC profiles in /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/ and /Applications/Affinity Designer.app/Contents/Resources After closing / reopening a file, the profile is no longer available. Is there perhaps a new way of dealing with profiles? Serif Team: For Europe, for European companies, please add the ICC profiles. A must for pros.
  3. I just noticed that when I set a CMYK colour profile globally in any Affinity app’s Preferences (i.e. when no document is currently open) this setting is obviously not remembered/honored when I quit the app(s) and do a relaunch. In all three v2 apps I set my CMYK colour profile to ICC’s „ISO Coated v2 300%“ (as this has proved to be perfect for getting my designs printed by my default online print services) [Although I actually don't need a special CMYK profile in Photo as all my pixel images will be strictly RGB]. However, when I quit the apps and later relaunch I find that in Preferences the settings I previously made aren’t remembered and something like „U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2“ shows up for instead for the CMYK profile. (See uploaded screenshots) On the other hand: if the CMYK profile „ISO Coated v2 300%“ is assigned not globally but to a Document Preset (e.g. all my presets for files usually meant for print) it is actually kept/remembered and new files from this preset will have the correct colour profile… Why doesn't this work globally then? Why can I choose global preferences in the first place when these only last until I quit the app? This is Affinity v2 on a Mac (Monterey).
  4. It is not possible for me to change my working colour space to an „ECI" working colour space. No matter what I do in the central settings, it only ever happens to access the "US Swap" working colour space. Even though when I do change to another colour setting - I always get back to the standard one, pre-installed by Affintiy. Any help? Thanks in advance. Heiko
  5. Affinity Designer 2.2.0 Update - Bug ICC Farbprofile lassen sich im Dokument nicht abspeichern / umwandeln, sie springen immer auf - Japan Color 2002 Coated - zurück.
  6. Following the 2.2 update, our team have identified an issue whereby changing the Affinity applications colour settings through Settings > Colour, to an ICC profile not provided with the Affinity apps is not retained when restarting the app on macOS. Our team are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible, in the meantime reverting to the previous version (2.1.1) should allow for these colour profiles to be selected, as required. If you are still experiencing issues with retaining these Settings changes, please create a New Thread and our team will be happy to assist.
  7. What have you done??? It reset my working ICC settings and now I can't update them. The keep reverting to sRGB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
