Its just crazy there isn't an Android version of Affinity. My two cents. Yadda yadda about M1 and processors etc. This is a professional tool, Affinity is not supposed to be just winning a drag race for number crunching speeds. I'd be quite happy with my Android tablet coming in a few milliseconds behind Mac, as long as it got the job done in a tolerable time.

Android tablet getting pretty good. And there is no combination in it if you add the affinity suite. There is no full creative apps in Android it would be amazing if we could have apps like the affinity suite. Thanks and I hope y'all think about it

As there is a version of Publisher on iPad may I perhaps hope that there will be a version for the other many thousands of tablet enthusiasts, not to mention the many smartphone users, who run Android as an operating system. Somewhere in the future maybe. John

Since version 2.3, Affinity Help can no longer be used properly on Android smartphones as soon as you want to use "Search". After entering a search term, the search results (smartphone in portrait format) can no longer be opened in the same window. Smartphone in landscape format: Search results are opened, but are partially overlaid by the menu. Everything works as expected in the "Content" tab.

I don't think there is a serious vector design application on Android with as many features as Affinity has, so there will be a lot of demand for it, considering that Android tablets are now very advanced

Hello, everybody, I noticed a problem in Affinity Designer related to the spacing of the first line of SVG files when the font and colour are changed. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem: Create Arial text in a given colour. Select certain letters and change them to Times News Roman in a different colour. Then export as an SVG and view the file on an online platform. When viewed on a Windows screen, the SVG file looks fine. However, on Android devices, an extra space appears before the modified letter on the first line. The AFDESIGN file used to observe this problem is attached to help resolve this anomaly. svg-unexpected-space.afdesign

Hi, As mentioned in the title, Affinty suite should include support for "density-independent" pixels (also known as 'DP') that are primarily used during Android/ Material Design development. The specification can be found on this website, but essentialy they are similiar to Apple's 'points' (pt) which is already supported, and very similair in function. 'dp' varies by using 160 pixel/inch base instead of 163: Android presets for phones such as the Google Pixel would be a welcome addition that use this new unit. This would really help me out as currently I struggle with asset creation / UI design for Android and always messing up the sizes when exporting. Since points are already supported, I would image adding this unit shouldn't be too much of a hassle (hopefully 😁)

Hello. I was wondering if Affinity would one day be on Android because I would love to use Affinity on the go or have an extra portable device to work with but I don't have any plans to get Apple products. Nothing against them, I only see myself buying apple stuff when/if I ever have super extra cash laying around. Since I'm on PC Windows, Android would be a much more seamless experience. Thanks in advance.

I swear i will pay as much as on ios for affinity suite on android tablets atleast samsung tablets. My boss gifted me with affinity suite last year and i fell in love with the software no more adobe like crashes or lags on my office laptop, no more heating up. The ui was modern and the tools were so great just the ones i wanted i do miss the illustrator image trace and some plugin support but every else is great. Took me a month to get around but it was worth it. Editing pdfs graphically was never this easy before. But i use my samsung tablet for many more things now as my laptop is heavy duty one now and is heavy in weight and i can't use mac os or iOS this easily like windows. I haven't been able to find a 1 stop desktop ui like app for editing photos, graphics and pdfs luke i used to in windows i can give strokes to layers or do symbols like in affinity designer. Please I request serif affinity to make affinity suite for android like theres a microsoft office 365 for android. It is a major market with literally no competition like your apps on iOS i m sure android systems will be great for affinity suite.

Just a quick comment to say I'd love to see Affinity Photo available for android tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 ultra would be amazing with Affinity Photo. No iPad even comes close to that 14 inch screen. Just a suggestion for future development.

Hi Affinity Team, we are developing more and more apps in both iOS and Android. PDFs from Affinity Designer imported in XCODE work fine. SVGs from Affinity Designer imported in Android Studio break once in a while. Certain paths in the SVG won't be shown after import. There seems to be a problem with certain path directions. So if the first path is clockwise, all following paths that are drawn counter-clockwise won't be able to be imported into Android Studio. (Please see third attachment) If I import the Affinity SVG (that doesn't work in Android Studio) into Adobe Illustrator and then export the file again as an SVG, the import in Android Studio works find. I don't know if Adobe is setting all paths to the same draw-direction when they export to SVG. Please find attached 1) a SVG from Affinity Designer 2) the same exported from Illustrator and 3) the import result in Android Studio with die Affinity SVG. If I can provide further information, please let me know. Tim icon_Affinity-Designer.svg icon_Illustrator.svg

Would it be possible to start porting the photo app, and why not the whole suite to Android? I work successfully on the Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra and would like to pay for the Affinity app for Android..

Hello! Why is there no Photo for Android when there is one for iOS? I know I am not alone in wishing it would come to the most used operating system for tablets and mobile phones! If it is on the way, when?

Hello I really would like to see a Android version of Affinity, as i'm sure there are plenty android users out there who are interested in it. And i think its only fair to all those paid customers with non apple operators to be able to use it on the go with their android devices. I'm a window user with a paid A.P and A.D. but cant bring it with me on my tablet and that s..ks. So is their any news on this, if any one of you knows, let me (us ) know ! Gr. Makki
